  1. Product description

BeLY lithium batteries are designed and built with safest LiFePO4 or LFP cells. The nominal voltage of a LiFePO4 cells is 3.2V. A lithium battery is required to achieve a stable power supply even under heavy loads, absolutely the best replacement for a AGM/ lead-acid /GEL batteries. In addition to the extremely light weight advantage, it offers additional enormous energy reserves.

A 12.8V LiFePO4 lithium battery consists of four cells in series and a 25.6V LiFePO4 battery consists of eight cells in series. BeLY LiFePO4 battery packs include two main components: cells assembled inside an ABS plastic or a steel case and an internal BMS ( Battery Management System) to protect the battery from misuse.

BeLY LiFePO4 lithium batteries accept parallel and series connections. Parallel connections are for capacity and discharging current increasing. Series connections are for voltage increasing (please refer to the technical data) and Bely batteries can be connected in series up to 48V.

Step 2. Make sure the Bluetooth on your smartphone is activated. Open the App on your smartphone.

Step 3. You will see a list now with one or more Bluetooth connections. Chose the model and Bluetooth ID of your battery and you will be connected to the battery.

  • View the current charge of the battery and the current power input/output showing the remaining time until the battery is fully charged/discharged.

  • 1.3.Battery Management System (BMS)

    The Battery Management System (BMS) is installed in every BeLY battery, this ensures that the battery is safe in the event of:

    - Low Temperature Charging Cut-pff.

    - High Temperature Charging or Discharging Cut-off.

    - Over Charging or Discharging Protection.

    - Over Current & Short Circuit Protection.

    - Battery Cell Voltage Auto Balance.

    1.4.Application of Batteries

    With the large capacity and relatively light weight and safe use, Bely LiFePO4 lithium batteries have a diverse range of applications. They can be used for stationary or mobile applications. They are especially common for, but not limited to, mobile homes, RV’s, campers and leisure, solar systems, boats, sonar, golf carts, wheelchairs, electric scooters, e-bikes, emergency power supply, UPS and house batteries.

    1.5.Battery charging

    Use a suitable CCCV lithium battery charger. Fully charge and discharge and then charge the battery for the first time use.


    An Bely LiFePO4 battery has a charging efficiency of 96%, with an output efficiency of 99% of utilizing almost all of its stored capacity.

  2. 1Battery Connections

Check the battery for damages before installation. A damaged lithium battery must never be installed or used.

To maximize battery performance and ensure safe operation of you battery, the cable cross section shall be suitable for the maximum continuous current and tighten connections using the proper torque value (torque of about 10-15nm).

Before each connection of several batteries, check in the technical data sheet of the battery variant whether and how many batteries may be connected in series or parallel.

The battery shall be mounted using special straps or clamps.

The battery shall be mounted on rubber foam or rubber blocks.

Fixing of the battery shall be strong and suitable for the application.

The cable connection shall be isolated by a suitable cable-boot, red for + and black for -.

BeLY LiFePO4 lithium battery with a Bluetooth connection will be shipped in sleep-mode if long time shipment. To activate the battery a charge voltage has to be applied by the internal charge controller ( the vehicle) or by an external charger.

BeLY LiFePO4 batteries can be installed upright or on their sides. Please ensure the battery is fastened if installed in a moving vehicle, such as in an RV or a boat.

  1. 2Parallel connection of the batteries

If a particular application requires parallel connection of the batteries (if permitted by the technical data sheet), connect the batteries as shown in Fig 1 to ensure even power distribution.

The capacity of batteries (rated in amphours) when connected in parallel is increased by the multiple of the batteries connected ( 2x, 3x, 4x, etc). BeLY 12V, 24V LiFePO4 batteries support parallel connections of up to 4 units. However, the current ratings (discharge and charge) for parallel batteries is only increased by 75% of the multiple of the batteries connected (1.5x, 2.25x, 3x, etc.)

Before parallel connection, follow the instructions below:

- Make sure all the batteries are fully charged and have the same voltage

- Use only batteries with the same capacity

- The best is to use new batteries

- Use only short cables (same length) between each connected batteries for the amount of current.

- The batteries have an electronic overcurrent protection and an internal fuse

  1. 3Series connection of the batteries

Make sure each battery is within 50mV (0.05V) of each other before putting them in series. This will minimize the chance of imbalance between batteries. If your batteries get out of balance, the voltage of any battery is >50mV (0.05V) from another battery in the set, you should charge each battery individually to rebalance. BeLY 12V LiFePO4 batteries support series connections up to 4 units and 24V LiFePO4 batteries support series connections up to 2 units, maximum 48V.

  1. 4Maintenance

No regular maintenance is needed for BeLY LiFePO4 lithium battery.

Check the connection to the battery poles regularly if the screw is fixed strongly.

Clean the battery poles when heavy corrosion is noticed.

  1. 5 Battery disconnecting

If the battery is suspected to be damaged or if you do not use the battery for a long period, please disconnect it as described below.

- Disconnect the negative connection cable from the negative terminal of BeLY LiFePO4 battery. Either put a protective cap on the negative terminal or tape the negative terminal with a suitable, non-electroconductive material (e.g. insulating tape) to protect the battery against short circuits.

- Disconnect the positive connection cable from the positive terminal of BeLY LiFePO4 battery. Either put a protective cap on the positive terminal or tape the positive terminal with a suitable, non-electroconductive material (e.g. insulating tape) to protect the battery against short circuits.
